Overlord - This movie starts with a bang, with a gunfight
by air, that sets the stage for the duration of the film. American paratroopers
invade a Nazi fortified church in an attempt to destroy a radio transmitter. Once
inside, they happen upon an secret laboratory and engage in a brutal battle
against the undead. With a concept and production by JJ Abrams, it was written
by screenwriter Billy Ray, and directed by Julius Avery. The film was purported
to be 4th in the Cloverfield series, which Abrams denied. The film
stars Jovan Adepo and Wyatt Russell and features the track ‘Bridging The Gap’
by Nas.
