UNCLE SAM - Oft cited as one of the worst examples of the horror comedy genre, Uncle Sam is actually a very enjoyable movie. Be prepared for gory slasher scenes and a creative take on the July 4^th holiday. William Lustig is the director of Uncle Sam, Maniac, Vigilante and Maniac Cop.  The latter (Maniac Cop) has simple effects, a straightforward screenplay, effective acting (Bruce Campbell from The Evil Dead), spawned two sequels (Maniac Cop 2, Badge of Silence) and has become a cult classic.  Wondering what to do this holiday?
