WES CRAVEN

WES CRAVEN - With Wes Craven’s recent death, I thought it would be a good time, for a retrospective. He worked as a professor, got his start in X rated film and growing up, movies were banned at his house. He grew up, moved away and turned his imagination toward scary monsters. He wrote books (Fountain Society) and was involved in television (Castle).
  • A Nightmare on Elm Street
  • Scream
  • The Last House on the Left
  • The Hills Have Eyes
  • Vampire in Brooklyn
  • The People Under the Stairs
  • Shocker
  • Swamp Thing

  1. Love the image of Swamp Thing. Some great cinematic gems :-)

  2. Can you imagine how much better his films would have been if he had major Hollywood money? Then again, too many special effects just ruin a movie.

  3. I read pretty much anything other than horror. I'm a big chicken. But these are great covers! I'm sure fans will love these books.

  4. I didn't know Wes Craven had died. I've never watched one of his movies. I tried his television show but it was too scary for me so I knew any movie with his name attached was one I should stay far away from.
